Choosing a marriage consultant means trusting someone with very personal information about you and your family. This page explains plainly what we collect through this website, what happens to it, and the choices you have. We are RK Marriage Consultant, the private marriage consultancy led by Raheela Khurram (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), city (optional) and your message.
Matchmaking profile (the Apply form): details about the candidate and family that you choose to enter, such as name, gender, age, height, marital status, contact numbers and email, home town and current residence, caste and sect, education, occupation and income bracket, family background, partner preferences, and up to three photographs.
Personal meeting booking: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, city (optional), preferred meeting format and any note you write, together with the payment receipt you upload. A receipt can show your bank or wallet details, so please hide anything you are not comfortable sharing, such as unrelated transactions, before you upload it.
Technical data: to prevent spam and abuse we briefly use your IP address, and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. If website analytics is switched on, it counts visits using cookies and anonymized IP addresses. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to contact you about your profile, usually by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To assess your profile and look for suitable matches within our private network.
- To verify a meeting payment and arrange your meeting time with you on WhatsApp.
- To keep the website secure and block automated spam.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your details are received by our consultant and the people who help run the consultancy. Your profile and photographs are never published online and never searchable. We will not share your details or photographs with another family unless you have agreed to that introduction.
We rely on a few service providers to run the website, who process data only on our behalf:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Supabase (the database that stores form details)
- Resend (delivers the notification emails we receive)
- Cloudflare Turnstile (spam checks on forms, when enabled)
- Google Analytics (visit counts, only if enabled)
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Pakistan.
How we store and protect it
- The website uses HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted between your device and our server.
- Profile and contact details are saved in our database. Photographs are saved in that same private database and are also sent to us as email attachments, which remain in our email inbox. Saved photographs can only be viewed by signing in to our private admin area, and they are never published or given a public web address. Payment receipts uploaded for a meeting are stored and protected in the same way.
- Email is not end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot promise that a message is unreadable to the email providers that carry it. If you prefer, you can send photographs directly on WhatsApp instead.
- Submissions are limited per person and checked for spam to protect the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we are working with you to find a match, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (including your photographs in our database and email), and you may withdraw your consent whenever you wish. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we can.
Children
Profiles may be submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of an adult family member. This website is not intended for anyone under 18 to use on their own.
